- Marathon Battery Life:Â A massive 6000mAh battery easily lasts two days.
- Blazing-Fast Charging:Â 90W wired charging is a game-changer, with wireless and reverse charging as a bonus.
- Built Like a Tank:Â With IP68/69 and military-grade durability, this phone is built to survive.
- Versatile and Capable Camera System:Â A triple-threat camera setup that delivers in almost any situation.
- USB 2.0 Port is a Letdown:Â In a "Pro" phone, the slow data transfer speeds of a USB-C 2.0 port feel outdated.
- Side Frame is Plastic:Â While durable, the plastic frame lacks the premium in-hand feel of metal.
- Processor Isn't The Absolute Fastest:Â The Dimensity 8350 is a powerhouse, but it's a step behind the top-tier Snapdragon chips.
The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is a phenomenally well-balanced smartphone. It delivers a flagship-grade experience in the areas that matter most to users—display, battery, and durability—backed by a camera that rarely disappoints. While minor compromises like a plastic frame and an old USB standard prevent it from being perfect, it offers incredible value and stands as one of the most compelling choices in its class.

DESIGN
From the moment you pick up the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, it’s clear Motorola prioritized ergonomics and durability. The quad-curved design, both on the front and back, allows the phone to melt into your palm, feeling much slimmer than its 8.24mm profile suggests. Our unit came in the Pantone Dazzling Blue, which has a sophisticated, textured finish that does an excellent job of resisting fingerprints—a welcome change from the usual glass-back smudges.
The front is dominated by the gorgeous display, protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 7i with an anti-fingerprint coating that actually works. But the real story here is the toughness. This phone boasts both IP68 and IP69 ratings. While IP68 for water and dust resistance is common, the IP69 rating for protection against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets is typically reserved for ruggedized devices. Add in the MIL-STD-810H military certification, and you have a mainstream phone with unparalleled peace of mind.

The only slight letdown is the plastic side frame. While it helps keep the weight down to a reasonable 186g, it does subtract a point from the “premium” feel you’d get from an aluminum or titanium frame. Still, it’s a trade-off we suspect many will happily make for this level of durability.
DISPLAY
Let’s be clear: the display on the Motorola Edge 60 Pro is nothing short of spectacular. The 6.7-inch pOLED panel, with its Super HD+ (1.5K) resolution, is incredibly sharp. But the specs that truly stand out are the brightness and color accuracy.
With a High Brightness Mode (HBM) of 1400 nits and an astonishing peak brightness of 4500 nits, outdoor visibility is a non-issue. Even under direct, harsh sunlight, the screen remains perfectly legible. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures that everything from scrolling through social media to gaming feels fluid and responsive.

For content creators and consumers, the Pantone Validated™ color and Skintone™ Validated certifications are huge. It means the colors you see on screen are incredibly true-to-life, making photo editing and video consumption a joy. Features like Aqua Touch, which improves touch response when the screen is wet, and robust HDR10+ support round out what is arguably one of the best displays you can find on any smartphone today.
PERFORMANCE
At the heart of the Edge 60 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme Processor. Built on an ultra-efficient 4nm process, this chipset is an absolute workhorse. In our day-to-day use, the phone felt relentlessly fast. Apps open instantly, multitasking with the 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM is effortless, and the user interface is buttery smooth.
For gamers, the Mali-G615 GPU handles demanding titles like Genshin Impact and Call of Duty with ease, maintaining stable frame rates at high settings. While benchmark scores might show it trailing slightly behind the absolute top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the real-world difference is negligible for 99% of users. Paired with blazing-fast UFS 4.0 storage, this phone feels every bit the flagship.

The one head-scratching decision is the USB 2.0 port. For a device that can shoot high-resolution 4K video, transferring large files to a computer over a cable will be painfully slow. It’s a clear cost-cutting measure and the most significant “con” on an otherwise stellar spec sheet.
BATTERY
If there’s one area where the Motorola Edge 60 Pro utterly demolishes the competition, it’s battery life. The colossal 6000mAh battery is a true game-changer. With moderate to heavy use, we consistently ended the day with 40-50% charge remaining. For lighter users, this is easily a two-day, and perhaps even a three-day, smartphone.
When you finally do need to top up, the included 90W TurboPowerâ„¢ charger is astonishingly fast. We were able to go from 0% to 50% in about 15 minutes, and a full charge takes just over 30 minutes. The inclusion of 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging (to power your earbuds, for instance) adds a layer of convenience that cements this phone’s status as a battery champion.
CAMERA
Motorola has equipped the Edge 60 Pro with a versatile and powerful triple-camera system that avoids the usual gimmicks.
The main 50MP shooter uses a Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, which is excellent. Combined with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), it captures photos with fantastic detail, great dynamic range, and vibrant, pleasing colors. In low light, the Quad Pixel technology kicks in, producing bright and impressively clean images.
The 50MP ultrawide camera is another highlight. Unlike the low-resolution ultrawide lenses on many competitors, this one captures sharp, expansive shots that maintain color consistency with the main lens. It also doubles as a fantastic macro camera, allowing for crisp close-up shots.

Rounding out the trio is a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. This is a proper telephoto, not a digital crop, and it delivers sharp, detailed images from a distance. The 50x “Super Zoom” is mostly a digital gimmick, but the 3x and 5x zoom levels are genuinely useful and produce great results.
The 50MP front camera is equally impressive, capturing sharp selfies with natural skin tones. The software is loaded with useful AI features like Adaptive Stabilization for video and a Photo Enhancement Engine that works behind the scenes to improve your shots without making them look unnatural.
SOFTWARE
Motorola’s software philosophy has long been one of its greatest strengths, and the Motorola Edge 60 Pro is a perfect example of this winning formula. The device runs a clean, near-stock version of Android that is refreshingly free of the bloatware and heavy-handed skins found on many other phones. This clean approach allows the raw power of the Dimensity 8350 processor and the 120Hz display to shine, resulting in a user experience that is consistently fluid and responsive.
While the experience feels like a Google Pixel, Motorola has sprinkled in its own set of genuinely useful features, which are housed in the Moto app. Classic gestures like the “karate chop” to toggle the flashlight and the “twist” to launch the camera are present and work flawlessly. The phone also introduces a dedicated AI Key on the side, providing quick access to intelligent features. Security is another strong point, with both a fast and reliable on-screen fingerprint reader and face unlock, all underpinned by Motorola’s ThinkShield for Mobile platform, which provides an extra layer of enterprise-grade security.
But the single most compelling aspect of the software experience is Motorola’s commitment to longevity. The promise of three major OS upgrades and four years of security patches is a massive statement of confidence in the product. This ensures your investment is protected and your device remains secure and up-to-date for years to come. This is a flagship-level commitment that few competitors in this price range can match, making the Edge 60 Pro not just a great phone for today, but a smart choice for the future.
Should You Buy It?
Yes, absolutely. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is an outstanding smartphone that gets the fundamentals spectacularly right. It offers a best-in-class display, endurance that puts other flagships to shame, and a level of durability that provides genuine peace of mind. The camera system is versatile and reliable, and the performance is more than enough for even the most demanding users.
While it’s not perfect—the slow USB port is a baffling choice and a metal frame would have elevated the feel—these are minor complaints in the grand scheme of things. For the price, you are getting an incredibly complete and compelling package that confidently challenges, and in many ways surpasses, phones that cost significantly more.
